The short version. We collect the account and résumé information you give us so we can build your résumé. We never sell your data and we never use it to train AI models. You can delete everything at any time.
Resumerush ("Resumerush", "we", "us") is an AI résumé builder that turns a short survey into a polished résumé. This policy explains what personal information we handle, why, and the choices you have. It applies to the Resumerush website and app (the "Service").
We do not intentionally collect sensitive categories of data. Please don't enter government IDs, financial account numbers, health information, or similar details into your résumé.
If you choose "Continue with Google", Google shares a limited profile with us through the OAuth process — specifically your name, email address, and profile picture, and a stable account identifier. We use this solely to create and secure your account and to personalize the app (for example, greeting you by name). We request only the minimum scopes required to sign you in.
Limited Use disclosure. Resumerush's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Google user data, do not use it for advertising, and do not use it to train generalized AI/ML models. We only use it to provide and improve the user-facing features of Resumerush.
To write and refine your résumé, your survey answers and résumé text are sent to our AI provider, Google's Gemini API, which processes them to return generated content. We send only what is needed to perform the task you requested. We do not use your content to train our own models, and we rely on the provider's enterprise/API terms, under which API inputs and outputs are not used to train Google's models. We keep your account and résumé content for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual résumés in the app, and you can delete your entire account and associated data at any time by contacting us (Section 10). When you delete your account, we remove your personal data from our active systems, except where we must retain limited records to comply with law.
We use industry-standard measures — encryption in transit, scoped access keys, and provider-level access controls — to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to notify you of material incidents where required.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. You may also revoke Resumerush's access to your Google account at any time from your Google Account permissions page.
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice where appropriate.
